THE MCREARY FAMILY
The McReary crime family is a family of Irish-American criminals based throughout Liberty City, headed by the McReary brothers. They operate in Dukes and formerly the West Side in Purgatory, Algonquin. The McReary's used to be a powerful force in Liberty City, but its influence has diminished greatly as of late. The gang control Purgatory in Algonquin, as well as most of Broker, but the expansion of the Italian Mafia and Russian Bratva encroached on heir empire. Also, most of the gang members have a tendency to spend their money on drugs, alcohol, and women rather than saving it and using it to expand the family's interests. As a result, the gang consists of mostly hired guns. But now The McReary Family has set up themselves in Los Santos, they are a very strong force and anyone who chooses to oppose will be dealt with immediately.

The Crime Family Coalition is currently led by Johny-LaFronz and Marty-Lanza, and was originally founded in San Fierro. These families have been in alliance for as long as these two could remember, their family roots date back to a gang of bank robbers in the late 1800's and they were put on the map thanks to their well kept string of speak-easies during the prohibition; the most notable of which helped fund the creation of Esplanade North and pier 69. The Family does not cooperate with police or authority of any kind, in fact they seem to hate cops. The Family now specializes in Protection, Prostitution, Gun Running, Contract Kills, and Street Racing. (They also have a helluva stash that they brought down from SF, everyone knows the best bud is from The Bay.)
